 It is our aim to make the ECDL for Educators product affordable to everyone associated with ICT in the classroom.   We are therefore offering a pricing structure to facilitate varying budgets and the level of training required.

Qualification:

The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) is the internationally recognised ICT qualification.

It is managed by the British Computer Society (BCS) in the UK www.ecdl.co.uk

Each learner registers with the BCS for an ECDL log book (maximum price £25*.Discounts available).
The log book records the seven tests as the learner takes them.

The BCS issues the final certification when all seven modules have been passed.

Tests are taken at an accredited ECDL test centre www.ecdl.co.uk/findacentre  (Your organisation/school might consider becoming a test centre). 
Manual tests are sometimes free. 
Online tests cost about £10 - charges depend on your test centre.

Teacher Training - Implementation and Support (optional):

ECDL for Educators trainers must be competent in the Microsoft Office suite to ECDL level or higher and have proven experience of teacher training. Teacher Trainer days  can be arranged on site or at our head office in Hereford.

A central database of accredited ECDL for Educators trainers will be held by Aston Swann in order to supply training to those licence holders who do not have, or require additional trainers. Click here for current list of licence holders and Preferred Training Providers

ICDL for Educators:

Our Educators courseware is accredited for both ECDL and ICDL and is known as "ICDL for Educators" in countries outside of Europe.
