BESE 2005 event success in Dubai
The British Educational Suppliers Event for 2005 held at Rashid School for Boys, Dubai in September this year was a phenominal success attracting over 900 visitors from around the region.
A particular highlight of the two day event included the comprehensive, sell-out workshop programme at which Wendy Swann, Aston Swann, UK, Director of ICDL for Education was an invited speaker.
"The occasion was professionally organised, very worthwhile and enjoyable" said Mrs Swann. "We actually sold products to Jordan and Dubai from the stand! The workshops were a valuable window for our ICDL for Education programmes".
BESE's partners at the event included support from The British Educational Suppliers Assocation (BESA), The British Council, British Schools of the Middle East and the UK Trade and Industry. It was opened by Ismail Mohammed Ismail, Director of Arabic Schools, Ministry of Education. Also in attendance were Dominic Savage, Director General of BESA and Richard Makepiece Her Majesty's Embassador based in Abu Dhabi.
