Is the courseware trainer-led or self study?

  • The ECDL/ICDL for Education courseware is flexible.
The courseware is learner driven and can be delivered either face-to-face, as self study, through work shops or as a combination - or over a Virtual Learning Environment
  • The workbooks are written so that learners with no prior knowledge of computers can work their way from the front to the back cover as self study. But with four years' experience of ICT skills training to educators, it is our belief that most teachers prefer to receive their initial computer training in a face-to-face environment
  • We suggest that you consider nominating a suitable trainer to deliver the initial workbook content as a "scripted" training session, then offer the learner the option to continue the workbook as self study
