The Courseware (Training Material)
Aston Swann Education courseware consists of the seven ECDL / ICDL Modules and a choice of Windows Vista and/or Windows XP.
All have a specific focus on classroom use; the result is an ECDL / ICDL experience that is totally in context for schools and colleges. The courseware addresses all the skills covered in the ECDL syllabus; therefore, on completion of the programme, learners should feel confident to undertake their ECDL / ICDL® qualification.
The Courseware layout – byte size learning
- Each Module is divided into Examples and Exercises which are byte size learning chunks that cover one or more syllabus Task items.
- Examples and Exercises can be used and printed individually or as a total Module.
Each Example contains its own:
- Table of Contents
- Index, showing which ECDL syllabus Task Items are covered in the Example
- Exercises with easy to follow, click-by-click instructions
Teacher ▪ Trainer Guide
- The Teacher Training and Support Guide is available, with timed lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations, prepared exercises, and additional homework and classroom examples.
- ‘Ready to go’ for those implementing the programme and supporting the ECDL/ICDL candidates.
The Learning
- This is a blended learning programme that has been designed as instructor-led coursework with printable work books, for individual use and as a self-study option.
- Also available as CD-ROM for network or VLE integration, or any combination of these options.
- Students ‘learn by doing’ in the live application.
