ECDL for Educators, news

ECDL for Educators receives acclaim in three top education publications in one week!

 1.         The Times Educational Supplement, 'TES Online'

2.         The Guardian's ICT supplement educ@guardian

3.         Teaching and Learning Magazine

These articles confirm what we already new - that the profile of the ECDL for Educators courseware is rising at an exciting rate.  We hope you share our excitement!

 What they said

Below are just some 'snippets' from the articles in The TES and The Guardian.

In TES Online, eminent journalist, Dorothy Walker, states:

"Teachers are throwing away their L-plates and gaining a new computer qualification.  In January, training specialists Aston Swann launched ECDL for Educators, designed to help teachers acquire their ECDL skills in a school context."

In educ@guardian, discussing the alternatives to NOf, Phil Revell writes:

"Until this year, the answer was to take the much criticized CLAIT course. Or teachers could try the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), a high level course but not designed for schools.  But now there's another option. Aston Swann has negotiated with the British Computer Society - which manages ECDL in the UK - and has produced a tailored version for schools."
