Training in the UK

This January five of our teachers are going to live a wonderful experience, as they have been chosen to participate in a training programme in England, which has been followed by St. Margaret’s staff members since 2000. Susana Swett, Margaret Lally, Andrea Villalobos, Pía Massai and Beatriz Valenzuela, will attend a course on the use of technology in the classroom, which will take place in Hereford and in which they will analyze topics like “Word processing, classroom tasks and administration”; “Presentations, electronic displays and printouts”; and “Information and communication, efficient e-mail and Internet use”. They will also go to Cambridge to take part in some conferences on the study of English, where they will be able to stay with British families. In both towns, our teachers will visit prestigious schools, where they will have the opportunity to learn more about the British educational system.
